Who We Are
The Repair Project is a Georgia-wide nonprofit workforce development organization dedicated to equipping underserved individuals across the state with the technical skills and professional certifications needed to build sustainable careers in the appliance repair industry.
We recruit from communities that face the highest barriers to employment — recent high school graduates, dropouts, returning citizens, veterans, and the unemployed — and we offer our 12-week training program at absolutely no cost to participants.
Appliances repaired during training are donated to income-qualified families, creating a dual-impact model where every skill learned directly improves someone else's life.

What We Do
Our 12-week, hands-on Appliance Repair Technician Training Program prepares participants to diagnose, repair, and maintain major home appliances. Tools, uniforms, and materials are provided at no cost.
Donated and collected appliances are repaired by trainees under expert supervision, then distributed free of charge to income-qualified families — putting real repairs to work in real homes.
We connect graduates directly to hiring appliance repair companies, home warranty providers, and property management firms — creating a clear, immediate pathway from training to employment.

Every dollar you give goes directly toward training costs, appliance materials, participant support services, and community distribution. The Repair Project is a registered 501(c)(3) — all donations are fully tax-deductible.

Working or repairable washers, dryers, refrigerators, and other major appliances can be donated and will be used in training or distributed to families in need.
